I know planning a wedding can be a job of it's own and we aren't born knowing all the answers. Hopefully this page can help answer some questions and guide you through your process!

How far in advance should I start looking for a makeup artist?

To ensure that your date is available, look for a makeup artist at least 3-6 months prior to your event.

Do I have to book a trial?

Not mandatory but, I highly recommend them. They ensure we are on the same page, help your wedding day flow smoothly and also can alleviate stress the day of your event.

Trials are nice to have done when you may have an event. ie; bridal shower, engagement photos, etc. Those opportunities are perfect to see how the makeup will wear all day and photograph.

Does it matter when I get my brows done?

Yes. You will want to have any brow, lip or other facial wax at least 3-4 days prior. Makeup has a tendency of showing lines of demarcation where a wax has taken place if done too closely together.

Can you travel on location?

Yes, I can travel to you! Depending on the location the travel fee and pricing will vary. Unfortunately, I do not travel on location without a minimum of 5 full faces needing makeup. (Minimum can vary depending on location.)

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

There is a non-refundable $25 deposit per person for any makeup event. This deposit is applied to your overall total on the day of your event & secures your reservation. I schedule on a first come (deposit paid), first serve basis. I do this to be fair & can not book your event until that is done.

Deposits are due no later than 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. Before the deposits are paid your day is placed on a "soft hold". If another party is requesting the same date, you will be contacted and given 24 hours to leave the deposits and secure your date. (Deposit amount may vary if on location.)

What is the difference in makeup application options? And, what about touch ups?

I can achieve any look your are desiring for your day. I cater to you, making sure the makeup will photograph beautifully and cover well.

The airbrush makeup I use is 18 hour wear and is water resistant.

As with any makeup, you will need to touch yourself up at some point during the night. You will be drinking, eating and dancing the night away in celebration! Lipstick & either a mattifying powder or blotting papers are great to have handy.

What information will you be needing from me?

I have a list of questions that I need answers to so I may better respond to your inquiries.

  • Do you need me to travel to you? If so, where?

  • How many will be needing makeup services?

  • Do you have a trial date in mind?

  • Is there a specific time we need to have everyone done with makeup?
